Mobile Development

Hallmark

From July 2014 - January 2015, I rewrote the flagship Hallmark app (iOS). My role also included architectural oversight to ensure the new services the app needed to consume were implemented in a mobile-friendly way. The new version included new vendor SDKs, new API integrations, and UI cleanup.

I worked with another internal developer to rewrite the app code. As the lead developer, my responsibilities also included code quality. Because there were many backend services, an API client was used to give front-end code a clean and simplified way to access data from these services. The other developer and I performed two-way code reviews to ensure both quality and understanding across the team.
