Mobile Development

About

Mobile is my passion

The code for my first app written for iOS 2 may be long gone, but my passion for crafting unique, valuable experiences for users has not. I believe technology should be there to enhance the human experience, not feel like a forced product. Digital technology has the power to impact people in many ways, whether it’s something as simple as showing your heart rate to your personal trainer when everyone is forced to stay at home or as complex as compiling data from multiple services in order to manage your finances.

Currently,

I am a Mobile Software Engineer at Commerce Bank. Before that, I was an iOS Engineer at Vertigo Music and Developer at Hallmark Cards.

I'm also an organizer of the Google Developer Group Kansas City, an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that hosts meetups and events covering various developer and technology topics. The main focus is on Google’s developer technologies, but we have had speakers on many topics including Angular, Ionic Framework, Android, iOS, virtual reality, TensorFlow, Google Assistant, and more.

As part of GDG Kansas City, I have given several talks on various technologies. For a sample of these, you can view this YouTube playlist. You can also view my Medium posts and tech talks on Sessionize.
